17 october 2025
Starting from October 17, 2025, free training sessions have been held for the volunteer guides who will accompany visitors to the paleontological site of the “Ciampate del diavolo”, a place of extraordinary scientific and natural value.
This initiative is developed within the INSITE research project, with the aim of raising participants’ awareness of the uniqueness of the area and the importance of its protection and promotion. The initiative is made possible through an agreement signed between the University of Sannio (Benevento), the University of Naples Federico II, and the Municipality of Tora e Piccilli – an agreement that represents the first “contemporary footprint” along the path of territorial enhancement and regeneration.
The training program is conducted and coordinated by Dr. Adolfo Panarello. The on-site activities are carried out in collaboration with the Soprintendenza Archeologia belle arti e paesaggio for the Provinces of Caserta and Benevento.
